The Safety Council Discount Program is designed for Ohio State Fund employers who participate in their local Safety Councils.
The employer must attend at least 10 Safety Council events during the year, including one attended by a CEO. This earns the non-group experience rated company a 2% participation premium rebate from BWC. An additional 2% performance bonus can be earned if the company has reduced its claims frequency and severity from one year to the next.
Group Experience Rated employers must attend the 10 events as well as reduce its claim frequency & severity to claim a 2% performance bonus rebate.
Group Retrospective Rated employers are eligible for the 2% participation rebate only.
V & A will conduct a savings analysis to determine the premium savings each client will realize by enrolling in the Safety Council Discount Program.
